1. Interpretation
1.1 “Application Form” means the documentation, -existing either in physical hard copy, or in electronic format- permitting Subscribers to apply for membership of the Confederation.
1.2 “Confederation” means the UK Trades Confederation (Services) Limited, a limited company registered in England, with the registered address of 14 Castle Street Liverpool, L2 0NE, and the company number of 4693649.
1.3 “Lawful and Competent Authority” means any governmental or law enforcement body or branch of the executive, legislature, or judiciary authorised to conduct investigations or regulatory & enforcement actions.
1.4 “Services” means the provision of various trade related benefits by the Confederation and its approved partners in the marketplace, to the Subscriber.
1.5 “Service Provider” means an organisation that provides the Services to the Subscriber. These organisations may have their own particular sets of terms and conditions.
2. General Rules
2.1 The Confederation shall –at all times- adhere to the provisions of the Data Protection Act, and any subsequent amendments thereof.
2.2 The Service Providers shall have their own terms of membership and their own privacy policies. The Confederation accepts no liability for the misuse of data on the part of a third party Service Provider. To this end, it is of vital import that members read and carefully consider terms offered to them by the Service Providers, prior to being in receipt of the Services.
2.3 The Confederation shall endeavour to keep the information on this web-site up to date at all times. That said, the Confederation makes no warranty as to the accuracy and veracity of the information. As such, where reliance on the information is critical, please correspond with a representative of the Confedaration.
2.4 The Confederation endeavours to keep this web-site free of viruses, spyware, adbots and other forms of malware. However, the Confederation accepts no liability for any damages –financial or otherwise- arising out of malicious infiltration of this site by third parties.
3. Sharing of Data
3.1 The purpose of the Confederation is to introduce members to Service Providers for the purposes of providing members with tangible benefits and Services. As such, the Confederation may –from time to time- share your information with the Service Providers. This will only take place where you have given your consent by agreeing to the terms of business included with your Application Form.
3.2 Any data you provide the Confederation, including information on your Application Form, and evidence of insurance cover, may be shared within the group of companies to which the Confederation belongs.
3.3 Any data you provide us may be shared with the Service Providers, for the purpose of the provision of the Services.
3.4 The Confederation may share your information with Lawful and Competent Authorities in the course of them exercising any policing, enforcement or regulatory power granted to them by statute.
4. Choice of Law
4.1 This privacy policy shall be governed by the laws of England & Wales.
