There is a way of reducing potential bad debts by checking out the customer before orders or work is undertaken.  Prevention is better than facing problems which could affect your cash flow and the future of your business.

Credit checking allows you to take a look at the credit worthiness of both your potential customers and existing customers who might be taking longer than normal to pay you.  Where you have credit accounts, it could be a good idea to regularly do a credit check to see if there may be any problems coming up that could cause you problems.
